  • Lighting
    • Take photos on a BRIGHT, SUNNY day at NOON.
    • Make sure ALL the interior lights are turned ON.
    • Make sure ALL blinds and curtains are OPEN.
  • Rent – Ready Interior
    • Make sure the unit is ORDERLY, CLEAN AND RENT-READY.
    • Make sure there is no standout item in the picture.
    • CLOSE the toilet lids.
    • Consider STAGING the interior with a few items
      • Vase of flowers or fruit on the counter
      • Curtains in the windows
      • If the tenants currently in the property has decorating skills, offer him/her an incentive for the opportunity to take a few “furnished” picture for future marketing.
  • Rent-Ready Exterior
    • Exterior should be free of any items that don’t NORMALLY belong.
    • Make sure no car is in the picture.
    • The lawn should be FRESHLY landscaped.
  • Camera
    • Use iPhone 5 or newer model to take the photos.
